IN2TIC doctoral programme

IN2TIC is an ambitious 60-month MSCA COFUND doctoral programme ecosystem designed to be a point of reference in doctoral training at regional, national and international levels. We propose to attract 24 full-time outstanding Doctoral Candidates (DCs) who will enjoy a 36-month training period to become excellent researchers able to solve complex interdisciplinary problems connected to the effects of the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in almost every critical human activity.

IN2TIC has developed connections with 11 associate partners: 7 international academic institutions hosting DC secondments and 4 enterprises offering industrial mentorships. IN2TIC is specifically designed to train doctoral candidates following the principles for innovative doctoral training, thus providing DCs and their supervisors with an attractive environment and the resources required to conduct excellent research. The training programme is based on excellent supervision, a strong emphasis on activities to hone DCs' transferable skills, exposure to non-academic sectors and an international environment, with the design of a Personal Career Development Plan (PCDP) tailored to each student DC, which includes stays, secondments or collaborations that boost the impact of the research and raise the profile of the DCs.

Doctoral programmes

The IN2TIC project consists of 24 scholarships divided into two calls of 12 scholarships each. Two scholarships are assigned to each of the UOC’s 6 doctoral programmes. These programmes involve all the university's research fields and cover the following research lines.
