EADTU is a network of European online and distance-learning universities whose mission is to influence public policy as relates to online and distance learning, while also raising funds for innovation in the area of e-learning. As a leader in online education and learning, the UOC participates in a number of EADTU projects:
European Short Learning Programmes (ESLP) project
The aims of this project are to innovate in public policies on continuing education and lifelong learning and to offer a flexible and scalable tool for responding to changing needs and skills in the workplace and society. The UOC has led the process for designing curricula and courses and has created a practical guide on designing short training programmes.
"Virtual Mobilities" working group
The UOC is a member of this group, which aims to assist universities in adding an international component to their curricula by putting international experience within reach of all university students through online mobility programmes. It also works to strengthen ties between institutions engaged in teaching and research.
"Artificial Intelligence" task force
We have also led a working group to address the inclusion of artificial intelligence in higher education.
